Lending Library

The lending library of the preceptory is for the use of brothers, novices, chaplains and other members of the Militia Templi in the United States and Canada. Only two books may be borrowed at a time and the usual loan period is two weeks though this may be extended with the agreement of the librarian.

The library holdings exist due to the generosity of members of the Militia and other good souls who donate new books or used books they no longer wish to keep for themselves. Donations of good Catholic books are always welcome. .You may hand books to the librarian at any Delegation meeting, or send them to the librarian via mail.

Rules

The Library is for the use of the member of the Militia Templi residing within the U.S. and Canada.

Books may be borrowed by mail by sending the cost of postage in currency or stamps.

Two books may be borrowed at a time.

Borrowing period is two weeks from the date of receipt.

Books are to returned at the borrower's expense in the same or similar padded envelope or mailer in which they were sent.

If books or an acknowledgement are not received for weeks after request, contact the librarian again.

Lost or damaged books should be reported at once. Do not try to repair damaged books but return "as is". Normal wear is understood.

All requests and inquiries should be directed to the librarian.

Charges

Please mail $2 for one book, $3 for two books to cover postage costs. Canadian residents contact the librarian for postage details.
