Vocations
The Order seeks Roman Catholic
men who feel called to protect the Traditional Liturgy, lead
a life of prayer and study of the spirituality and culture of
Knighthood, as a testimony and in defense of traditional human
and Christian values. There are two main categories of Knights:
- Knights with Solemn Profession. With the Investiture and the private
vows these knights consecrate themselves perpetually to the Militia
and commit themselves to follow the three classical evangelical
counsels (counsels of perfection) of obedience, poverty and chastity
(celibacy) together with the public witness of faith (fourth
vow).
- Knights in Obedience. With the Investiture and the private
vows of obedience and public witness of faith they serve in the
Militia committing themselves to aim at the perfection of the
Christian life.
Associated members in the Militia
include squires, chaplains and oblates (male and female).
